Ingredients

Tools

  • Stirring glass

  • Stirring spoon

  • Julep or hawthorn strainer or something to keep ice from falling our of stirring glass

Instructions

  • Stir all ingredients over ice in a mixing (or stirring) glass.

  • Strain into chilled coupe glass, channel orange peel, express over drink. You can drop this into the drink or but onto a pick like we did here.

P.S. The original Brooklyn recipe calls for Amer Picon - a liquor that is nearly impossible to come by in the states, we sub in bitters to make up for this missing link in the drink. We also add more Luxardo than the original recipe calls for, mostly because we love Luxardo and found it to pair beautifully with the Lo-Fi Dry Vermouth.
