Blue Couch Surfer
This is a decadent beverage that walks the line between cruise ship boat drink and complex craft cocktail. We knew that as a base we wanted to play into some of the pina colada/blue hawaii flavors but to take this down the rabbit hole and make it feel more “refreshing” we added in some light anise flavors in the form of Chartreuse and Scrappy’s Orleans bitters. The resulting drink is magnifique, decadent but the herbal flavors create a menthol/eucaplyptus like refreshingness. Like a cool breeze on a hot day, this drink certainly makes the couchsurfing a lot less boring.
