Cactus Cooler

This riff on the Paper Plane/Naked and Famous/Last Word is going to be our go-to drink this summer! Inspired by some desert cocktails we had when @sjberto was tending bar @juniorsf - this one is refreshing, balanced, slightly smokey, even juicy. 

Ingredients:

• 1 oz Sotol we used @desertdoor

• 1 oz Lo fi Gentian Amaro @lofiapertifs

• 1 oz Aperol @aperolusa

• 1 oz fresh squeezed 🍋lemon juice

• Optional: a dash or two or Ancho Reyes Chile Liquor @anchoreyes

Tools:

• Shaker

• Mesh strainer

• Hawthorn strainer or something to keep ice from falling when pouring drink

Instructions:

• Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice

• Strain into chilled glass

• Express lemon peel and add to glass
