The Honey-do list

This recipe has a great balance between sweet and baking spice flavors complemented with a fatty mouthfeel that comes from adding a touch of simple syrup.

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz of Barr Hill Honey Gin @barrhillgin

• 0.5 oz of Spiced Pear Liquor, we use @stgeorgespirits

• 0.5 Dry Curaçao we used @ferrandcognac

• ¼ oz Simple syrup

• Orange Peel + Star Anise as garnish

Tools

• Mixing glass

• Mixing spoon

• Julep or hawthorn strainer

Instructions

• Add all ingredients to mixing glass with ice and stir.

• Strain into chilled cocktail goblet (nick and nora glass, or something similar)

• Express orange peel and drop into glass for garnish.

P.S. We definitely recommend this one as a dessert cocktail for after a meal or a Honey-do project! If you don't have Barr Hill gin you can make this work regular gin and use honey syrup in place of the simple syrup.
