The Lost Word
This one is complex and delicious and full of French flavors! Making use of the spirit, vermouth, amaro framework of a Negroni, but adding in the lemon part of a Last Word we found that Lillet and Suze are a match made in heaven and St. George’s Terroir Gin ads in a distinctly piney subtleness to the drink. On our last ski trip we actually made a 4 serving batch of the spirit part of this drink and shook them up with fresh lemon once we got into the mountains. It’s a nice way to save yourself the hassle of bringing up your whole bottle collection and still get to enjoy all their wonderful flavors.
